Young people are always welcome at our
Sunday School
Our Sunday School meets every Sunday at the
same time as the Church service, 10:00 to 11:00 AM.
We welcome children and young people up to the age of twenty to attend our Sunday School classes.
Visiting students are always welcome.
We are passionate about teaching our students from the Scriptures about God’s ever-present love for them. Children are taught the Scriptures, and they shall be instructed according to their understanding or ability to grasp the simpler meanings of the divine Principle that they are taught.
The first lessons include the Ten Commandments, the Lord’s Prayer, the Sermon on the Mount, as well as an introduction to spiritual and moral lessons we can learn from the men and women of the Bible.
Classes for older students are centered around in-depth spiritual conversations based on the Weekly Bible Lesson Sermon from the Christian Science Quarterly. Students and teachers explore liberating spiritual truths from the Bible and the Christian Science textbook, Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, by Mary Baker Eddy.
Like the men and women in the Bible, students will learn more about how their prayers and understanding of God’s loving care and guidance provides them with healing solutions to any challenges they may be facing in their own lives. Ultimately, we want all our students to experience God-given dominion and joy in their lives.
We also provide child care for children too young for Sunday School. Our designated children’s room is staffed during the church service, allowing parents to focus on their own spiritual care.
